Round-trip from Anchorage + McKinley Flight Tour + Lunch at the Talkeetna Roadhouse
Depart Anchorage for a spectacular flightseeing tour of Mt. McKinley and Denali National Park. Land in rustic Talkeetna, a little Alaskan village with a big heart. Winter is when our community comes alive with a rich variety of social events and artistic opportunities. Local artisans work to prepare their wares for upcoming festivals and stock main street shops. Check with our staff for concerts, art shows and culinary events when you arrive.
Stroll into the downtown historic district and have lunch at the Talkeetna Roadhouse. (If Talkeetna were a house, the Roadhouse would be our kitchen.) Cozy fireplaces and the aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls, pepper bacon and hearty soups make this the perfect place to settle in on a winter afternoon. Return to Anchorage.

Winter is wonderful!
Winter in Denali National Park is gorgeous! It offers some of the best lighting due to the low angle of the sun. The low sun defines the icy folds and granite ridge tops in a unique way, and paints Denali in shades of peach, rose and fuchsia alpenglow in the morning. We also enjoy a much higher percentage of clear days in the winter - an added bonus for our cold-weather visitors. We are open every day in the winter.
Please note: Our winter rates vary depending upon group size. Please contact our office.
