Other Information

Personal Items

Be prepared to take pictures, remember to charge your batteries and/or devices, and have extra storage space on your camera. You may bring a light daypack with you on the airplane.

Transport and Parking

There is free, though limited, parking at the K2 Aviation office. We recommend you leave your car keys with the office. K2 provides a courtesy shuttle from certain major hotels. You are welcome to leave your baggage at the K2 Aviation office for free.

Accessibility

Our trips are not accessible by ADA standards. We can often accommodate people, depending on the nature of their disability. Our vans do not have wheelchair lifts.

Weather Conditions and Clothing

Alaska’s weather can change dramatically. A sunny and warm day in Anchorage can turn windy, rainy and cold in Talkeetna and in the National Park. Please dress appropriately. This includes layering your clothing, wearing comfortable shoes, and bringing rain gear.

Trip lengths may vary, depending on weather conditions and type of plane.
