Climbing in Denali National Park

K2 aviation was an awesome operation through and through, especially if you are planning a trip to climb Denali! Everyone was very personable, the pilots were all spot on and detailed about everything. The best part was that we didn't wait at all getting back to basecamp! it took an hour for them to send two airplanes and off we went. Other teams were waiting there for hours before the other company came in to get them.

I have flown twice with K2, once in 2009 flying to and from Base Camp for a Denali climb, and a second time in May 2018 flightseeing over the Ruth Glacier. Both trips provided outstanding views. During our recent trip the Pilot was very knowledgeable about glacial formation and features on the landscape. Denali is a unique mountain, and flightseeing with K2 is a unique way to view it.

Flying with K2 was a great experience. The weather was perfect which helped, but all the staff we dealt with were fantastic and our pilot Chad was great! I hope to fly with you guys again on a future Denali climb!
